SANAC Issue Paper #16

ISSUE:  Develop a strategic plan

BACKGROUND:  At the May 12, 1998 SANAC meeting this subject is one of thirty-eight issues brought forward as a noise reduction idea by members of the community.

ANALYSIS/DISCUSSION:  The strategic plan commences with the formation of four SANAC subcommittees to work thirteen action items from thirty-eight noise reduction ideas formulated above.  These items were regarded as issues that could be started immediately by SANAC and should be reported on a monthly basis by a designated sub committee member.

CONCLUSIONS:  Four subcommittees have been officially sanctioned by SANAC:

RECOMMENDATIONS:  This subcommitte recommends other subcommittees utilize this monthly reporting format to SANAC.
