Sanfords Record Trends Continue into 2001
Sanford, Fla., February 23, 2001 Orlando Sanford International Airport continues to post increases in nearly all areas as the new year begins. The airport serviced a total of 55,432 passengers in January, made up of 13,552 domestic travelers and 41,880 international. These passengers represented a 15% increase over January 2000. January 2001 posted a 45% increase in total operations over this period last year, due to a large jump in international flights and general aviation take-offs and landings. This upward trend is expected to continue into February with Pan American Airways new flights to Allentown, PA and Worcester, MA.
Orlando Sanford International Airport

High Tech Corridor.
