The $25 million expansion will add a two-story terminal facility of more than 120,000 square feet. Fully completed by February 2001, the terminal complex will accommodate international overflow traffic and cater to new domestic carriers.

The new terminal complex will be managed by Orlando Sanford Int'l Airport Management in partnership with the Sanford Airport Authority. All involved parties look to this expansion as a necessary and exciting step on the path to meeting the transportation needs of Central Florida and the local community.
